The idea for “Stoopid Movie!!!” was sparked during an advanced animation class. In the middle of a critique, somehow the idea for “Banana Island” came up. I thought it was funny, but couldn’t rationalize a good enough reason to animate something so ridiculous. The only way to do it would be to surround it with a smorgasbord of equally idiotic vignettes.

At the beginning of the spring 2005 semester, my advanced animation class agreed to take on the project and produced the film in three weeks, gracing the world with its beauty!
